Time to Shake of the Dust

August 4, 2011

Man, it’s been a while! Blog’s a bit dusty. We took a bit of a furlough and went out west for a month. Visited family, friends, lakes, doctors, rest stops, you know all the road tripping kind of stuff. But we’re back. Mostly. So get ready, lots coming up. You better get on your reading britches. Or viewing britches. Or whatever britches you like to wear while looking at photos and words.

We’ll start with Lane. It was my privilege to shoot with her before we left. She’s awesome, check her out below!

Here are a few images from my recent shoot with Megan. We shot around one of my favorite towns, Birmingham. We were lucky for some beautiful weather, but we quickly realized it was as race against an impending storm. We won ;) . Megan continued to perform awesome even as the clouds started rolling in and the air got chillier. Thanks Megan for a great shoot!

As promised last week, here is the first of several senior posts…I’ve been holding out ;) . A lot more to come this week. Today’s post is a preview from Helana’s shoot. She was a fabulous subject, and humored me with gigantic smiles while I dragged her through snow, mud, and anything else Birmingham had to offer us. It was a bit chilly but she was trooper! Thanks Helana!

Well folks, I’m headed out for a shoot, so here’s the last post for today. However, I’ve got a bunch more to share, so maybe I’ll try and get a few more up this weekend…but until then, we’ll wrap it up with a few images from Amani’s shoot in Birmingham.

We’ll wrap up our current series of senior posts with a few from Farah’s shoot in Birmingham. I’ll try to mix it up in the next day or two with a few editorial shoots.

We’ll finish today (it’s still Saturday here in the West) with a few images from Amanda’s shoot…more coming tomorrow!

We’ll start day 2 of blog post frenzy with Erin (I’m hoping to get one or two. Great shoot in Birmingham…thanks Erin!
