March 3, 2010A few more from our Utah trip
February 19, 2010As I mentioned last week, we spent about a month in Utah over the Christmas holiday. Here are a few more images I took while on our trip…
These first few are a continuation of the Park City series…the place is seriously so cool…if weren’t so blasted cold we could have stayed for hours. However, I felt a bit sorry for my buddy, Josh…as he only had leather work gloves in his car…poor chap about lost his digits in the frigid air!

This next shot is of the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City. I shot it from the top floor of the building next door. Every year, the temple grounds are lit with Christmas lights…it’s beautiful site. The second shot is of another Mormon Temple in Logan.

This last image was taken while walking down a street in downtown Ogden…I thought it looked so mysterious and magical.

A bit of random…
February 3, 2010I mentioned in my last post that we had been on vacation in Utah for about a month…so a few things came out of the trip. First, never go on vacation for a month! Unless you’re a glutton for punishment!!! We’re still trying to catch up. We took loads of work and good intentions with us when we walked out the door…but as always goes, we came home without accomplishing a single work related thing…but we had a ton of fun anyway! I had the chance to get out and shoot just about every day. Over the next month or so, I’ll post a few of my favorite images from the trip, starting with the image below.
My buddy was in town visiting some family and we decided to take a morning and go to Park City to see what we could find. It’s funny how places take on a whole new interesting vibe when you move away from your home state. I lived in Utah for most of my life, yet I never cared about doing anything in Park City other than skiing. But man, what a great place to photograph!
As of late, I have been drawn to big rigs and street scenes. That combined with my intimate relationship with Coke Cherry Zero, and I couldn’t resist but shoot the following scene…
Tis the season!!!
December 2, 2009We just got done decorating the house (well, actually Jean and the boys just got done decorating the house…) and I walked downstairs and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to shoot the tree…it looked way too pretty to pass up…yeah, that’s right, I’m a dude and I said pretty…sometimes I say cute too…
Merry Christmas y’all!!!
