So I can’t remember the last time when I, or Jean, or both of us had a night with nothing on the calendar! So when we both realized it, we decided it was high time we went out as a family and got some dinner…and of course, what’s dinner without a little ice cream?! So we ended up at our favorite joint, Cold Stone. Man, you’d think my kids hadn’t had food in months the way they were going crazy, the least of which was our youngest…at 15 months old, the kid can put away more ice cream than anybody I know! We seriously should put him in the circus…he’d be the hit of the night, guaranteed!

Do you ever feel SO blessed, and SO grateful at the blessings God has granted you, even if you’re still trying to figure out the best approach to handling them? You’re stoked to have what you have, but are also sure there is a better way to tackle it? I can honestly say that I, hands down win the blessed contest. I have the most amazing wife and incredible kids. I am completely in love with my job…I almost feel guilty calling it a job…more a passion with financial benefits . And even though I’m still trying to figure out how handle it all, how to get it all done, and how to be the best dad, husband, and picture slinger I can be, I LOVE every minute of it. I can’t imagine my life any other way. I’ve honestly never been happier. And in the end, I’m sure I’ll find that proverbial straw, and ultimately figure it all out.
